Annika Sorenstam's Dubai Goodbye

Annika Sorenstam tees off in the 2008 Dubai Ladies Masters, an event on the Ladies European Tour taking place in mid-December. It was the final event on Sorenstam's 2008 schedule, and that meant it was likely the final official tournament appearance of Annika's long and storied career. Sorenstam announced early in 2008 her intention to "step away" from tournament golf at the end of the year. That made Dubai her stepping-off point.
