About the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship:
The USWAPL, as it is abbreviated, is open to women amateurs who do not hold playing privileges at private courses - golfers who are not country-clubbers, in other words, but are public-course players.
The field plays two rounds of stroke-play qualifying. The Top 64 move on to match play, with 18-hole matches. The final is a 36-hole match.
