The village of Cooperstown, N.Y., is home to the Baseball Hall of Fame. It's also home to Otesaga Resort, which itself is home to Leatherstocking Golf Course.

Leatherstocking Golf Course opened in 1909, designed by Devereux Emmet. The course sits in a valley under heavily forested hills and alongside the western shore of Lake Otsego. The course is elevated above the level of the lake, providing great water views. Leatherstocking features deep sand bunkers guarding the greens and numerous water hazards.

The Otesaga Resort has been named one of the Top 50 Resorts in the U.S. by readers of Conde Nast Traveler magazine.
