Kiva Dunes Golf Club is in Gulf Shores, Alabama, a burgeoning resort and golf destination on the Gulf Coast. Kiva Dunes has been highly rated since its opening in 1995. In 2005, it was named the best golf course in Alabama by Golfweek magazine, and Kiva Dunes has also been included on Golf Digest's list of the top 75 golf resorts in North America.

Kiva Dunes was designed by U.S. Open winner and Alabama native Jerry Pate. The seaside course is just a short walk from white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. It plays through, over and around sand dunes, lakes and natural wildlife areas, but trees are still plenty around the layout.
