Horseshoe Bay Resort is in the resort community of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, on the shores of Lake LBJ and adjacent to the picturesque town of Marble Falls. Horseshoe Bay is located in the Texas Hill Country, about 70 miles from Austin and 80 miles from San Antonio. The resort includes three highly acclaimed, Robert Trent Jones-designed golf courses, plus the Horseshoe Bay Resort Marriott Hotel, the first Marriott resort hotel in Texas.

The above photo shows the Ram Rock Course, which opened in 1981 and quickly earned a reputation as among the best and most challenging courses in Texas. In fact, Ram Rock is called the "Challenger" course and has been voted the toughest course in Texas numerous times. Ram Rock features narrow fairways, natural streams, plenty ofwater and sand, lots of trees and vegetation and its share of blind tee shots.
