Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana

Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind., was designed by Pete Dye and opened in 1964. The private club was the site of the 1991 PGA Championship (where the legend of John Daly began), the 1993 U.S. Women's Open and the 2005 Solheim Cup. Over the years, Crooked Stick has been included in best-of golf course rankings compiled by Golf Digest, Golf Magazine and Golfweek. The photo above shows hole No. 9.
