The Golf Club at Newscastle is in Newcastle, Wash., just outside Seattle, and parts of the club's two courses provide views of Downtown Seattle. Mt. Rainier, the Olympic and the Cascade mountains are also visible around the 350-acre complex. The two courses at The Golf Club at Newscastle are Coal Creek and China Creek; both were designed by Robert Cupp with input from Seattle native Fred Couples, and both are public courses.
The photos here are of Coal Creek, which measures just over 7,000 yards and features five par-3s and five par-5s. There is 300 feet of elevation change around Coal Creek, whose opening hole is a 621-yard par-5.
