Spring-Like Effect

Definition: As commonly used, the layman's term for "coefficient of restitution." The two are not the same thing - COR is a measurement, spring-like effect is an expression that describes what is being measured. A high COR driver face is said to have a "spring-like effect" because of the degree to which the face depresses, then springs back into shape when striking a ball.
