Guide Review - Sonartec Super CV Pro Driver
Sonartec's limited-edition Super CV Pro Titanium Driver brings the company's trademarked Driving Cavity, introduced in 1999, to the big stick. The driving cavity, located in the sole of the club, helps Sonartec manipulate the center of gravity and affects the heel and toe weighting. Sonartec takes advantage of both cases to widen the sweet spot for maximum forgiveness. The driver is forgiving on off-center hits, but also had a mid-high launch angle to help produce optiminum ball flight. Along the same lines, a horseshoe-shaped weight bar in back aids in getting the ball airborne. The stiff graphite shaft on the model tested seemed a bit whippy to the faster swingers, but testers with less swing speed reacted very well to it.
