Description
Guide Review - Louisville Golf Niblick Persimmon 7-WoodYes, it's a real persimmon wood. But nobody who tried this 7-wood felt cheated on distance. All agreed it produced excellent control, and all particularly loved the soaring, majestic trajectory. That trajectory comes as a result of the fact that up to 75-percent of the clubhead weight sits below the ball line - providing a very low center of gravity. I particularly loved this fairway wood off the fairway, but it performed well from the rough and from tight lies, too. Which is what the "V" soleplate (lower in the middle) is designed to do. The 7-wood should be equivalent to a 3- or 4-iron (3-iron for me, and I'm fairly long). It's designed for all levels, but mid- and high-handicappers in particular might appreciate these clubs.
