Guide Review - Wilson Deep Red Fluid Feel 1 PutterMy biggest problem with the Fluid Feel is, well, its feel. Wilson's intent was to produce a putter that provided excellent feel and sound. But in our testing, the Deep Red Fluid Feel 1 just didn't feel very good. The feel was fine for short putts, but longer putts produced a hollow feel and hard knocking sound. The putter looks great - the quality of the design is just what you'd expect from Wilson's Deep Red line. This putter, unfortunately, just didn't live up to expectations. I have a feeling the mallet version would test much better - perhaps we'll have a chance to see about that in the future. The accessories are positives - the model tested featured a Winn grip that can accurately be called luxurious, and a very nice head cover.
