Guide Review - Dunlop LoCo Bite Golf Ball
Dunlop's LoCo Bite (which goes to market in April, 2003) is an addition to its very popular LoCo golf ball line. The original LoCo was designed for distance. The Bite is designed to maintain that distance, but add better spin into greens - thanks to DuPont's HPF polymer, the special ingredient in Dunlop's "SpinFlex" cover. The distance is certainly still there, and the Bite does have more, well, bite than its predecessor. In testing, though, those who hit both the LoCo Bite and Dunlop's 65u preferred the 65u - if only slightly. Of course, they are really balls from two different markets - a urethane ball and a distance ball. The Bite's price tag and performance are sure make it a popular choice for recreational golfers.
