Tour Edge Bazooka JMAX Progressive Irons

Reader-Submitted Review of Tour Edge Bazooka JMAX Progressive Irons

From Doug Diehnel, for About.com

Reviewer: Doug Diehnel

Reviewer's Handicap: 17

Club acquired from: Pro Shop

Positives of this Club
Very straight and long.

Negatives of this Club
Fat topline put me off at first but after using them a bit I don't notice it any more.

Review:
I tried them all at demo days and golf shops and much to my suprise I like the JMax Progressive better than the Cobra SS, TaylorMade RAC or any Ping that I picked up.

The lower flight takes some getting used to because I hit the ball very high, but the lower flight handles better in the wind and doesn't seem to affect the bite once they hit the green.

These clubs feel substantial and generate confidence. It is suprisingly easy to work the ball given that the head is a slightly oversized cavity back.

The biggest suprise to me was that the 3-iron has turned out to be my favorite club in the set and that says a lot coming from a 17 handicap. These are terrific clubs at a great price.
