LoCo Hybrid Irons
LoCo Irons capitalize on the golf industry’s hybrid club trend, and, yes, they manage to keep the LoCo color scheme.

The LoCo Iron set includes a 6-PW cavity back iron combination and three forgiving hybrid utility irons. The utility irons are intended to replace the harder-to- hit long irons found in traditional sets, and feature deep faces that make it easier for average golfers to get the ball up in the air.

LoCo utility irons are fitted with Harrison XL 85 Hybrid 100-percent graphite shafts. The cavity back irons feature stainless steel heads with True Temper steel shafts in mid-firm flex.

"The LoCo Irons are designed specifically to benefit players of all skill levels," said Dan Murphy, Director of Marketing, Focus Golf Systems, Inc. "The deeper and more forgiving face on the hybrids make them easier for golfers to get the ball up in the air and land softly. The LoCo Irons are the perfect solution for the golfer who lays up at the sight of a creek or waste bunker guarding a green 180- 220 yards away. With the LoCo Irons you don’t have to be a PGA Tour Pro to stiff a 200 yard approach over water, and the technology won’t cost you an arm and a leg either."

The LoCo Irons carry a suggested retail price of $349.95 and will be available April 1. Based on feedback from customers, Dunlop also plans to offer the LoCo utility clubs for individual purchase.

Super LoCo Ball
As Dunlop’s flagship ball in 2004, the Super LoCo utilizes a combination of a softer core, softer cover and an even lower compression than the original LoCo to promise increased distance and accuracy off the tee with added feel around the greens.

The Super LoCo boasts a compression of 65, lower than the 80 compression of the original LoCo. The lower compression results in increased rebound off of the clubface, and that means the Super LoCo is longer than the original.

In addition, Super LoCo is softer around the greens and easier to control on short chips and pitches. The increased softness is the result of a new DuPont(TM) HPF polymer used in the cover. Dunlop is the only manufacturer to use this material in a golf ball cover. The DuPont(TM) HPF polymer is softer than the surlyn cover construction typical of many distance balls, yet it is more durable than the urethane covers commonly associated with balls designed for control and feel.

The Super LoCo will be available March 1 with an MSRP of $16.95 per dozen.
