It's obvious by now that Adams had a great Idea when it introduced ... well, the Idea. The hybrid iron set has proved popular with golfers who've given it a shot.

Now, more golfers can give the Idea a try. Adams has announced the introduction of an Idea Hybrid set for women.

The Adams Idea Women's set provides women with an 11-piece set consisting of driver, fairway woods, i-Woods (iron-wood hybrids), hollow-back irons and cavity-back irons.

The Idea women's hybrid irons replace hard-to-hit long irons with easier-to-hit i-Woods and hollow-back mid irons. The difference between this set of clubs and the rest of the Idea line is the inclusion of a 400cc oversize titanium driver, and two lightweight Idea fairway woods (3 & 5), engineered to fit with the irons.

The MSRP for the Adams Idea Women's hybrid set is $799. Some of the features of the clubs include:

• Integrated set consisting of a driver, fairway woods, i-Woods, hollow-back irons and cavity-back irons.

• Loft, length and weight specs designed to provide ideal launch conditions for women golfers.

• 400cc offset driver designed with a low center of gravity to help get the ball airborne.

• 3 and 5 fairway woods provide higher launch angle.

• 4 and 5 i-Woods replace traditional hard-to-hit long irons.

• Forgiving 6 and 7 hollow back irons replace conventional cavity back mid-irons.

• Cavity back 8 and 9 irons, and PW and SW, provide control, feel and forgiveness.

• Clubs are offset, designed for higher, straighter shots.

• Clubs feature wide sole for maximum stability and playability.

• Clubs come with Winn grips and a lightweight graphite shaft.
