Golf rulebooks are often offered for sale in golf course pro shops. If your local course does not offer rule books, you can request one from the USGA or R&A.
If you live in the U.S. or its possessions, you can order the Rules of Golf through the USGA Publications Store (there is a fee).
If you live outside the U.S. or its possessions, the R&A offers many publications on the rules, both free and for cost. To view the free offerings, go here.
The rules can also be viewed online at the USGA Web site or R&A Web site.
