Annie Mallory, the Las Vegas-by-way-of-Canada contestant on "The Big Break VI," plays on The Cactus Tour, an Arizona-based women's professional tour. Many of the female contestants on the show are Futures Tour veterans.

So when Annie found herself in the Elimination Challenge for the second straight week, she was happy to be taking on a "Futures Tour girl." "I wanted to take one out," Annie said (with a smile).

As The Golf Channel put it in its recap of Episode 2, be careful what you wish for. Mallory went head-to-head with Sarah Lynn Johnston with elimination on the line in Episode 2, and it was "the Futures Tour girl" - Sarah - who survived.

Also getting the boot in Episode 2 was Gavin Slabbert, who lost his showdown with Rocky Rockett. Which is OK by me - anyone named "Rocky Rockett" deserves to stick around a while.
