The three major tours - PGA, European and LPGA - are all in play this week. And so is the year's top senior tournament.

The U.S. Senior Open tees off Thursday in Nebraska at Omaha Country Club, a course that is new to major championship golf. The defending champ is Roger Chapman. You can check the first- and second-round tee times here, or look over the list of past winners.

On the regular men's tours, many of the top stars are taking the week off in preparation for next week's British Open. But Phil Mickelson isn't, and neither is defending Open champion Ernie Els. They are both playing the European Tour's Scottish Open.

The defending champion in Scotland is Jeev Milkha Singh, and among the big names joining Mickelson and Els are Padraig Harrington, Paul Casey, Francesco Molinari, Matteo Manassero and Nicolas Colsaerts.

The John Deere Classic is the PGA Tour event this week, where the defending champ is Zach Johnson. Jonas Blixt, last week's winner at the Greenbrier, is playing, as are Louis Oosthuizen, Jordan Spieth, Steve Stricker, Keegan Bradley and Nick Watney.

And the LPGA Tour visits Canada for the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic. The defending champion is Brittany Lang. In fact, she's the only champion, at least until Sunday - this is just the second year of the event.
