Back in September, Lexi Thompson made history by winning the Navistar LPGA Classic at age 16, becoming the youngest-ever winner on the LPGA Tour.
Today, still 16, Thompson became the youngest-ever pro winner on the Ladies European Tour.
Thompson's second professional win happened Sunday at the LET's Dubai Ladies Masters, where she made five birdies from the ninth hole through the finish of the final round to win by four strokes.
We emphasized "pro" above because Thompson is not the yougest winner of any kind on the LET, just the youngest pro to win. Thompson is 16 years, 10 months and 7 days old today on the day of her Dubai victory. One LET winner was younger, however.
Amy Yang was an amateur, and two months younger than Thompson is now, when she won the ANZ Ladies Masters in 2006.
