Earning medalist honors at Q-School runs in the family for the Freeman boys. On Friday, Jeff Freeman finished on top after the final round of the Champions Tour Q-School finals. It's the third time one of the two Freeman brothers has won a Q-School finals.
Robin Freeman finished ninth on Friday at Champions Tour Q-School, but in both 1988 and 1993 Robin was medalist at PGA Tour Q-School.
For winning, Jeff gets one of five spots available on the Champions Tour in 2012. The other four golfers in the Top 5, earning 2012 Champions Tour cards, on Friday were Gary Hallberg, Jim Rutledge, Jeff Hart and P.H. Horgan.
