Just a quick note that the final round of the 2011 U.S. Women's Open has begun - and before the third round is even finished. A handful of players - including some leaders - had a few holes to go in their third rounds when other players - including some leaders - began teeing off the final round.
That was necessitated by all the weather delays. There is no time to waste today if the tournament is going to conclude on Sunday, which is what everyone wants.
The third-round leaders in the clubhouse, all on 1-under 212, when others started teeing off in the final round were Angela Stanford, Cristie Kerr, and KLPGA player So Yeon Ryu.
