Alas, Elin Nordegren is not a member of the new Dancing With the Stars cast.
Early Monday rumors spread that Tiger Woods' ex was joining the cast of the reality TV show for its next season. Nordegren was spotted in the Los Angeles airport. The DWTS cast was going to be revealed during Monday evening's Bachelor episode, and ... and ... and that was about it as far as evidence. But that was enough for some speculation by entertainment "news" shows and Web sites.
It was fun to think about. Unfortunately, when the cast reveal finally arrived, Nordegren was not among the celebrity dancers.
I can see how some may have built a case for believing Nordegren would be: Annika Sorenstam has said many times that she'd love to be on DWTS. Perhaps DWTS contacted Sorenstam. But Annika is pregnant, so maybe she told DWTS, "hey, try my friend Elin."
Nordegren has been such a private person though, throughout her marriage to Tiger, and through the dissolution of that relationship. It really would be very out of character for her to appear on something like Dancing With the Stars.

Michelle Wie would be hilarious on DWTS. Love her, but she’s a major klutz. She’d be flying all over that stage knocking stuff over, including her partner!
