Earlier this year, in the aftermath of Tiger Woods' car crash and infidelity scandals, Golf Digest put Woods' monthly column on the bench. Woods was a "playing editor," with a monthly tips column appearing in each issue under his byline. The magazine later reinstated Woods, but now Woods and the publication have reached permanent splitsville.
USA Today reported today that Woods' column in the February 2011 issue of Golf Digest - the one currently on newsstands - is his last for the publication. Statements from Golf Digest editor Jerry Tarde and from Woods himself confirmed the split. Woods has been affiliated with Golf Digest since 1997.
The decision was termed "mutual."
Just a couple weeks ago, Gillette announced it was not renewing its endorsement deal with Woods. Over the past year, Woods has lost deals with Accenture, AT&T, Gatorade, Gillette and now Golf Digest.
He still has six sponsors remaining, however ... for now. See Tiger Woods Endorsements for that list.

Another reason to not read Golf Digest.
I agree with you Pauline, Tiger Woods was my hero, even after the scandal I still looked up to him.
Tiger’s whole life has been a split lately, so a split with Golf Digest would just be normal.
I think Golf Digest would have lost readership if they didn’t do something like this at that time.
Please continue to persevere, you sin as others did.
Please ask God to forgive you.The whole world will not pardon you because they think they are better. We are all sinners. I am a friend. Please smile and b happy.
It is sad to see the state Tiger is in these days. It is true that God forgives. Let’s hope Tiger can forgive himself and get back on track.
