Next 'Big Break' Cast Revealed

Big Break Sandals Resorts ended less than 24 hours ago - congratulations to Carling Coffing on her victory - but the Golf Channel is ready to move on to the next installment of its franchise series.

Called Big Break Dominican Republic, the next season premieres on Sept. 29 with a familiar cast. The 12 golfers - six men, six women - are returnees from previous Big Break seasons, players the Golf Channel refers to as some of the series' "most captivating and polarizing personalities." Heroes and villains, in other words. (Although there appear to be more villains than heroes.)

Here are the 12 golfers who make up the cast of BBDR and, in parentheses, the previous season on which he or she originally appeared:

  • Andrew Giuliani (Big Break Disney Golf)
  • David Mobley (Big Break Michigan)
  • Blake Moore (Big Break Disney Golf)
  • Anthony Rodriguez (Big Break Mesquite)
  • Brian Skatell (Big Break Prince Edward Island)
  • William "Football" Thompson (Big Break Prince Edward Island)
  • Lori Atsedes (Big Break Kaanapali)
  • Sara Brown (Big Break Sandals Resorts)
  • Christina Lecuyer (Big Break Kaanapali)
  • Brenda McLarnon (Big Break Prince Edward Island)
  • Blair O'Neal (Big Break Prince Edward Island)
  • Elena Robles (Big Break Sandals Resorts)

Wow. Giuliani, Mobley, "A-God" Rodriguez and Skatell all together. That has "spontaneous combustion" written all over it.
