Last week Ernie Els won, this week Jim Furyk won. Party like it's 1999.
Furyk won the Transitions Championship on Sunday, beating 2-time Transitions champ K.J. Choi by one stroke. The win is the 14th of Furyk's PGA Tour career, but his first since the 2007 Canadian Open.
Apparently, 2010 is a good year for guys turning 40. Perhaps Phil Mickelson will soon get hot after all ... or at least after he turns 40 on June 16.
Another accomplishment of sorts at the Transitions: David Duval and John Daly both made the cut. Duval and Daly hadn't made the cut in the same tournament since the 2008 Viking Classic.
