Now we know with certainty that Tiger Woods is returning at The Masters. How will he fare there?
Woods has missed significant chunks of time twice before in his professional career. Following the death of his father in 2006, he came back at the U.S. Open at Winged Foot and missed the cut. Returning from knee surgery last year, Woods' first tournament back was the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship, and he lost in the second round. But he won a couple weeks later in his second tournament, the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
What do you think about Tiger's chances at the 2010 Masters?

Tiger Woods is the best golfer on the planet. His mind is stronger than anyone i know. People forget, he had marriage problems, not a injury. He will be back and belief me, he will be back with a bang. This is why he choose the play the MASTERS as his first returning event after the recent caos surrounding him. He is ready.
After Sunday at the Masters……………let’s all get over with it…for the sake of the “GAME!”
Tiger? I thought it was Cheetah? As a former Florida State Senior Golf Champion, I feel Woods did more damage to the integrity of the game than imaginable or excusable OR forgivable. Hope he lives a long life for every day will have moments of pure Hell as he reflects upon what could have and what should have been. Regards to Elin and the kids.
Tiger was a huge idol for so many young people/golfers including my young son. I hope he can undo the damage he has done. I really hope he is straight now and can show these young people that going straight is the best way to go. Perhaps it is meant to be that so many of us can learn from Tigers mistakes. I say lets give him another go. Cheers Wal.
We wish Tiger Woods the best and hope he will win. When you are young you slip a little here and there, but that is not the end. Go Tiger, Go.
Tiger is a pillock and should be dropped from the game which he has defiled. He has no right to anything and will never be Number 1 in anybody’s eyes. Hope he never beats Jack. He does bot deserve it and should fade out into the background
Once Again Tiger will show us the Mental Toughness he possesses over the many distractions that surround him during a game of golf, and we will see the Winner he Truly Is !
There Will be controversy and bad behavior projected by fans & the media during the round & I Hope that they will be delt with appropriately. ( Ejected & Banned )
We the people want to see a great game of golf, not a media created soap opera !
This is what will happen to Tiger on Day One: He will consciously feel what his colleauges, fans etc will be thinking about him. He will therefore approach Day One on a low profile demeanour, doing less talking and focusing more on his game. He will talk more with his Caddy sometimes just to simply divert his attention from people’s focus on him. If he gets the first thre holes right, he will gain significant confidence and start to roll on. If he gets the first three holes wrong, he will struggle to get the rythm on Day One. Some people will cheer him up and he will reciprocate with a smile that looks like a grin. Others will jeer him and he will keep his head up looking ahead and pretend he didnt hear them. The worst he can afford to do would be to drop his shoulders and head down as this signifies immense pressure of shame. After Day One believe me he will put all that behind him as the excitement of seeing him wanes. From thereon the Game is on and he can become a real tiger-menacing, aggressive and steaming on.
To Who it may concern,
There is no doubt that Mr Woods is and probably will be, the best golfer ever, However, after this affair to mention his name in the same breath as, Mr Palmer, Mr Player and the great Mr Nicklas, is to hit them below the belt; for those three and other great players and “gentleman” in the game. One day Woods will pass the record for the amount of “majors” won, but as a person of character, a person who you can look up to in respect. Forget it………….. I have one message for Mr Woods, the game of golf is NOT Mr Woods, it never was and never will be. Mr Els was perfectly right when he commented about the timing and venue of Mr Woods, pitiful speech!! Who does, Mr Woods think he is……
Tiger will do just fine if the media (and others), will permit him to play his game without undue interuption. Remember, his personal life is his business, not ours. If the media (and others) will remember that this venue is about golf, and nothing more Tiger will do just fine.
you forgot a box to check for, DON’T CARE!
Tiger Woods behavior is a disgrace to the game of golf. I think his membership in the PGA should be revoked. I will not be watching another televised tournament in which he is a participant. He has thumbed his nose at the sanctity of marriage and sullied his image beyond repair. Heartfelt sympathy to Elin and the two children for this unspeakable insult.
Two years ago when I watched Tiger I always hoped someone would beat him. After all the hooplar I am now hopeing he will beat the hell out of everyone. Good luck Tiger
I am glad every one in the world lives such perfect lives.I want a great show put on.GO TIGER or put John daley on.
WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE PHRASE,”NO MAN IS BIGGER THAN THE GAME”. I THINK IT’S A SHAME THAT THE GAME DEPENDS SO MUCH ON ONE INDIVIDUAL. ALL THE MONEY HE AND HIS SPONSORS MAKE OFF THE PUBLIC, HE OWES US BETTER COMMUNICATIONS..I’VE LOST ALL INTEREST IN WATCHING HIM PLAY…. .
get a life – the golfing world, and journalists put tiger on a pedestil – he played good golf – let the man get on with it.
and if you have never made a mistake in your life then you can judge. And more fool to the stupid women who came out shouting – Me too!! do they have no shame or respect for married men
Tiger will be under a lot of pressure but the best is at the Masters there won’t be any haglers so perfect tourny to enter
