The real first public appearance by Tiger Woods since his late November car crash won't be the statement he makes from the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse on Friday. That will be his first public statement. But his first public appearance? Well, that's the image to the right.Tiger went for a jog on Wednesday in his Orlando neighborhood. And lo and behold, there was a Getty Images photographer there to document the momentous ... jogging.
Someone purported to be Tiger Woods was photographed inside the compound of a Mississippi sex rehab clinic about a month ago. But the image was blurry and no proof of the subject's identity has been forthcoming. Besides, even if that was Woods, it wasn't Woods out in public.
But on Wednesday, the day his Friday statement was announced, Woods did step out in public.
