The new groove rules won't affect most us for more than a decade. But PGA Tour golfers and other touring pros have to play with the new grooves right now.

Unless they can find a loophole. And John Daly has found one.

If I am not mistaken, there were a couple of players that switched to the 20 year old wedges over the last couple of weeks.

I think it’s great that the change has been made. Having to be more creative with shots from the rough and shorter distances will definitely make for more excitement on tour.
