See More About:
Like Michelle Wie before her, LPGA Tour star Christina Kim has created a low-tech, do-it-yourself blog on the Blogger platform. And like Wie's blog, Kim's looks much more interesting than the typical blog of a touring pro. Perhaps it's that DIY approach: In her first couple posts, Kim (again, like Wie before her) seems much more unguarded, much less concerned with cosmetics and more interested in, well, blogging like a real person with thoughts to share. Which means that those thoughts won't always be interesting to others, but they will be authentic.

In her second post, one welcoming 2010, Kim looks back on her 2009:

"Last year I rode elephants and camels, ziplined across concrete, visited temples, cathedrals, and ancient ruins. I hosted clinics, danced the night away on the tops of bars, went to amusement parks in foreign countries. I saw my first NHL hockey game ... traipsed about on the beaches of the Middle East, and jumped in pools.

"I went to a few concerts ... partied like a rock star, sang like a diva (in my opinion, anyway), as well as sat and meditated in parks, and met countless people, with a select few that have truly inspired me. I've watched some incredible sunrises, ones that have welcomed the world to a new light, as well as some amazing sunsets, where the end of something beautiful and awe-inspiring just means the moon shall rise on the other side."

That passage may or may not strike your fancy, but it's certainly preferable to another "I just try to take it one shot at a time and stay in the moment" pronouncement.

Kim also posts candid photos and even a video. Check it out: thechristinakim.blogspot.com
