What's going on in Tiger Woods Scandal-land? Let's see:
- The National Enquirer claims that both the FBI and IRS are watching Woods developments and considering opening a federal investigation into whether Woods misused corporate funds and/or money from the non-profit Tiger Woods Foundation to finance his, um, extra-curricular activities.
Take these tabloid and gossip-site reports with a grain of salt, while also noting that the gossip rags have turned out to be right about quite a bit of this tawdry business to date.
- The gossip columnist at MSNBC.com says that "several women who were involved" with Tiger claim that "Woods wired money to them on a monthly basis. The dollar amounts they cite range from $5,000 to $10,000 per month, and there's talk among those women that someone out there might be getting as much as $20,000 per month."
- According to People magazine, citing unnamed sources, Elin Nordegren has decided to seek a divorce from Woods. MSNBC's gossip girl cites sources claiming the Nordegren-Woods split will become public after Christmas.
- Dr. Anthony Galea, who treated Tiger Woods with a controversial (but legal) procedure called platelet-rich plasma therapy, and has admitted to using human-growth hormone, was charged in Canada on Wednesday with several counts relating to the use of an illegal drug called Actovegin.
The New York Times report also includes the news (first reported by CBS Sports) that the Florida Department of Health "has opened an inquiry into whether Galea practiced unlicensed medicine in his visits to Woods's home."

I think Tiger deserves a break.
Despite what he did, it seems he doesn’t want to lose his family.
He deserves a chance to try to mend the damage and get his marriage back on track.
Infidelity is wrong, but sometimes men with the best of intentions get caught up in situations they’re not proud of, or do things they later regret.
I realize this will change nothing, except selfishly make myself feel better for having written. Given your almost daily insistence on feeding the frenzy of conjecture, what-if’s, and speculative news relating to Tiger Woods, I have now deleted your site from my web home page. I am not defending Woods. I am simply stating you have lowered yourself to the equivalent standards practiced by the Russ Limbaugh’s, People Magazine, and National Enquirer’s of the world. You are lucky to be so perfect. You are unlucky to be so lacking in worthwhile purpose.
Ruth:
5 years plus of serial infidelity, payoffs to hookers/hostesses, arranged play dates with multiple playmates, probable prostitution involved anda good wife with two babies at home etc…and you want forgiveness, understanding??? Yikes what a pinhead!!!
Nothing is new here; Kobe Bryant, Jim Brown and all those guys. Same thing!
Mark t – who cares go if you delete this site – I do not. They are covering the biggest story in years – regardless of the consquences to Tiger – I am not happy he is going thru this mess – it hurts golf! However he professed to be a family guy and we find out he was lying – I doubt he was taking drugs – but he is not the person to tell me he wasn’t – pressure from media will clear or finish him!
I feel bad with the damage Tiger Woods caused his family. I have no pity for the women he used. I do not exuse the women either. The shock was that his whores thought they were the only ones! The joke was on them too not just his wife. Tiger appears to have a problem with touch and go as well as self-esteem. If I were Tiger Woods wife, I would leave him.
