Statistics show that more than half of all golfers will hurt their backs at some point during their playing careers. While not all back injuries are preventable for golfers, there are exercises and stretches you can add to your routine to help strengthen your lower back and protect it from those injuries. One of those is called Openers by fitness expert Sean Cochran, who demonstrates the exercise and recommends adding it to a workout routine.
