The LPGA announced today a new tournament for its 2010-11 seasons, the Acapulco LPGA Classic. The tournament will be played in the Spring, and - should all of the tournaments in Mexico re-up for next year (one is definite, two others are in negotiations) - it will be the fourth LPGA tournament in Mexico. Lorena Ochoa has the power.
The event will be a full-field, 72-hole tournament with a purse of $1.3 million. Probably best not to read too much into this announcement, but that purse size might be a sign that the post-Carolyn Bivens LPGA leadership is now willing to accept, in the current economic climate, the lower-tier purses that Bivens was hired to increase or replace.
According to the Golf Channel's Randall Mell, the LPGA now has 14 events under contract for 2010, with another 15 in negotiations to return. However, some of those 14 are currently without title sponsors.

I recently had a bag purchased for me at a flea market. It is a duffel bag that is from the 1989 PGA Ryder Cup. It has an American flag on the side which gives away the team. It is made by Ron Miller Associates, Inc. Can you give me any information about it?
