Natalie Gulbis on Next 'Celebrity Apprentice'

By , About.com Guide   January 8, 2009

Follow me on:

Natalie Gulbis is one of the 16 cast members for the new season of the NBC series "Celebrity Apprentice," starring Donald Trump. The 2009 season debuts on March 1.

Gulbis' inclusion had been rumored for some time, but was only confirmed with NBC's public announcement of the cast today.

The other 15 cast members, courtesy of About.com's Reality TV guide, are: country music star Clint Black, comedian Andrew Dice Clay, poker celebrity Annie Duke, actor/comedian Tom Green, figure skater Scott Hamilton, bike builder and TV personality Jesse James, model Claudia Jordan, minor reality celeb Khloe Kardashian, the mother-daughter tandem of Joan and Melissa Rivers, basketball bad boy Dennis Rodman, former football player Hershel Walker and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins of the music group TLC.

Rodman, the Riverses, Green and the Kardashians (all of them, not just Khloe!) are some of the most annoying people on the planet. Not sure I'll be able to stand watching them just to see how Natalie is doing. Guess I'll have to just check in periodically with About.com's Reality TV guide linked above for updates.

Trump is an avid golfer and deeply involved in the game through his various golf clubs, resorts and real estate ventures. He and Gulbis are well-acquainted and share a good friend in Cristie Kerr. Which, come to think of it, probably means Natalie's chances of winning aren't great. It wouldn't look good for Trump to give the win to one of his friends.

Celebrity Apprentice is a really good show. I never miss it. Donald Trump is the best host.

It’s lame but it will definitely be worthwhile watching, just because of Natalie’s appearance. Pity is that she might get consequences in her professional life as a golfer.
