"Big Break X" Premieres Tuesday

Have we really already arrived at the 10th season of the Golf Channel's "Big Break" series? It seems like only yesterday that Justin Peters was winning the inaugural season of the "golf reality show," and earning exemptions to play on the Canadian Tour.

But yes, the 10th season of "The Big Break" - called "Big Break X: Michigan" - premieres on the Golf Channel on Tuesday, 10 p.m. ET.

The 16 competitors on "Big Break X" are comprised of eight women and eight men, and they enter the competition as teams and will compete as teams throughout. And the team members are familiar with one another; in some cases, quite familiar (wink wink, nudge nudge): husband-and-wife or boyfriend/girlfriend.

And the members of the winning team earn, among other prizes, trips to the big leagues: The PGA Tour and LPGA Tour, respectively.
