Connecting the Dots

Wednesday July 23, 2008
"Dots," or "the dot game," is a popular golf betting game. It is so-named because winners of the bets mark their scorecards with small dots, which are tallied at the end of the round.

It can be a lot of fun, and also very elaborate, with bets on a wide array of outcomes - closest to the pin, 1-putts, first in the hole, you name it.

Some people call this game "Junk" or "Trash." Do you know of other names for it?
