British Open On the Air

Here is the U.S. broadcast schedule for 2008 British Open, which begins Thursday and concludes Sunday at Royal Birkdale in Southport, England:

(All times Eastern)

Thursday
• TNT - 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m.

Friday
• TNT - 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

Saturday
• TNT - 7-9 a.m.
• ABC - 9 a.m. until end of play

Sunday
• TNT - 6-8 a.m.
• ABC - 8 a.m. until end of play

The is also live online and satellite radio coverage planned:

  • Online: PGA.com offers live, online streaming on Thursday and Friday, including a simulcast from 4 a.m. (ET) through 2 p.m. both days, plus live coverage of the 16th through 18th holes from 5:30 a.m. (ET) through 2 p.m. both days.
  • Radio: XM Radio channel 146 has live coverage all four days, 3 a.m.-3 p.m. (ET) Thursday-Friday, and 4 a.m.-2 p.m. (ET) Saturday and Sunday.
