The Masters, Round 1

Thursday April 10, 2008
Tiger Woods hasn't made a birdie at Augusta National Golf Club since the fifth hole of his final round last year. Fortunately for Tiger, however, he did make an eagle today in the first round of The Masters. It came on a chip-in from behind the 15th green, and it moved Woods from 2-over par back to level-par. And even is where he finished the day. But fewer than 20 players are under par, so Woods is not in poor position.
