"The Big Break: Mesquite" Debuts on Golf Channel

Don't call it "Big Break VIII" - the next installment of The Golf Channel's "reality" golf series debuts tonight, but minus the Roman numerals. This series is called "The Big Break: Mesquite."

Among the contestants are golfers who've had PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour status; money leaders from some of the top mini-tours; the NCAA player of the year from last year; a long-drive champion and plenty of characters.

The season premiere is tonight (Oct. 2) at 10 p.m. ET on The Golf Channel. Check our "Big Break: Mesquite" page to learn a little bit more about the series, including bios of each contestant.
