juli inkster - 2007 solheim cup After a weather delay on Saturday, the Solheim Cup resumed Sunday morning with the completion of the four-ball matches. And after those four-balls, Europe had taken a 1-point lead.

But the Americans dominated in the singles matches that followed, winning 8.5 of a possible 12 points and rolling to a 16-12 victory. Juli Inkster (pictured), Pat Hurst, Angela Stanford, Stacy Prammanasudh, Morgan Pressel, Nicole Castrale, Paula Creamer and Natalie Gulbis all won their matches. The European team, meanwhile, got only one point out its best players, Annika Sorenstam, Suzann Pettersen, Laura Davies and Sophie Gustafson. Sorenstam lost to Pressel; only Davies managed a win.

The U.S. now leads 7-3 overall in Solheim Cup competition.
