By winning at The Barclays, Steve Stricker - who entered the tournament 12th in points - jumped to No. 1. Tiger Woods, who didn't bother to show up for the tournament, fell only from No. 1 to No. 4 in the point standings.
The Barclays had a field of 144. This week, only 120 players move on to the Deutsche Bank Championship. The week after that, just 70 advance to BMW Championship, and then the traditional 30 wrap up the "playoffs" at the Tour Championship.
