The FedEx Cup Playoffs After Week 1

The new era in golf that the PGA Tour has been telling us about all year in television commercials is under way, with Week 1 of the "playoffs" complete and 120 golfers moving on to Week 2.

By winning at The Barclays, Steve Stricker - who entered the tournament 12th in points - jumped to No. 1. Tiger Woods, who didn't bother to show up for the tournament, fell only from No. 1 to No. 4 in the point standings.

The Barclays had a field of 144. This week, only 120 players move on to the Deutsche Bank Championship. The week after that, just 70 advance to BMW Championship, and then the traditional 30 wrap up the "playoffs" at the Tour Championship.

Below are three lists of point standings, the Top 10, the golfers from 111-120 who just squeaked into the field this week, and the golfers from 121-130 who are on the outside looking in this week (failing to advance):
