Presidents Cup Teams Announced

The 2007 Presidents Cup will be played late next month in Canada. So it's no surprise that International captain Gary Player made Mike Weir one of his two captain's picks Monday, when the final team rosters were announced.

Here are the team rosters:

• International: Ernie Els, Adam Scott, Vijay Singh, Geoff Ogilvy, KJ Choi, Rory Sabbatini, Retief Goosen, Trevor Immelman, Angel Cabrera, Stuart Appleby. Captain's picks: Nick O'Hern, Mike Weir
• United States: Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, Phil Mickelson, Zach Johnson, Charles Howell III, Scott Verplank, David Toms, Steve Stricker, Stewart Cink, Woody Austin. Captain's picks: Lucas Glover, Hunter Mahan

Woody Austin and Stuart Appleby moved into the Top 10 of their respective team rankings at the PGA Championship, but both captains played it safe by choosing the player who was bumped to No. 11, Lucas Glover in the U.S. case and Nick O'Hern in the International case.
