It took a little longer than expected, but the first round of the U.S. Women's Open is finally over. It wrapped up Friday morning after a weather delay halted play for around three hours on Thursday. All the Friday tee times have been pushed back by a couple hours as a result.

Here are the leaders at the end of the first round:

Angela Park, 68
In-Bee Park, 69
Shiho Oyama, 69
Annika Sorenstam, 70
Amy Hung, 70
Jiyai Shin, 70
Joo Mi Kim, 70
Shi Hyun Ahn, 70
Julieta Granada, 70
Charlotte Mayorkas, 70

There are always some surprise names on major leaderboards after Day 1; we'll see whether the Japan LPGA's Oyama, for example, can stay in it throughout the weekend (she's No. 14 in the world rankings).

At the opposite end of the spectrum from these players were Michelle Wie and Karrie Webb. Wie shot 82, which - given her play since returning at the Ginn Tribute - isn't much of a suprise. Webb's 83 was a real shocker, however. Webb was considered a strong favorite entering this tournament, but wound up shooting her worst score ever on the LPGA Tour.
