What a Weekend - What a Week Ahead

The weekend past was a great weekend of golf, with major surprises and significants wins and winners:

  • Morgan Pressel won her first LPGA title at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, and became the youngest major champion in golf's modern era.

  • Two PGA Tour heavyweights, Adam Scott and Stuart Appleby, battled down the stretch at the Shell Houston Open, with Scott pulling out the win. Just in time for the Masters.

  • Pedro Martin-Benavides became the first amateur ever to win on the European Tour.

  • Keith Fergus won the Champions Tour Ginn Championship, becoming just the second golfer to record wins on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and Champions Tour (Ron Streck was the first).

And the week ahead? Well, that's just a little tournament called The Masters.
