Ranking the Top 50 Female Golfers of All-Time
And the list must include some of the founders of the LPGA Tour, such as Patty Berg, Louise Suggs and Babe Didrikson Zaharias.
And then there are Mickey Wright and Kathy Whitworth, who started in the 1950s, dominated the 1960s and 1970s, and set numerous records for winning.
And what about all the great golfers of the 1980s and 1990s? Pat Bradley, Betsy King and Patty Sheehan are in the mix. And, of course, Nancy Lopez.
You'll also have to include some of today's biggest stars, such as Annika Sorenstam, Karrie Webb and Se Ri Pak.
Then there are those golfers whose careers are really just starting, such as Lorena Ochoa and Cristie Kerr.
These golfers and many more make up our ranking of the Top 50 Female Golfers of All-Time. Who's No. 50? Who's No. 1? And who's at each position in-between? We count 'em down, starting right here.

HEY Mr. Kelly, whats with the “like Kerr” comparison (twice) in Lorena Ochoa’s Golf Bio. Looks like you dont think she deserves it.
If I didn’t think she deserved it, I wouldn’t have put her in there. I was just pointing out similarities in their careers to this point.
What about amateur’s?? Some great lady golfer’s there as well. i.e. Marlene Streit.
I think that Lorena Ochoa should be ranked higher due to the competition she faces, which is the deepest ever, plus she dethroned the no 1 player ever, and beat her on face to face competition. Thank you
