Actually, two of them: Woods earned the PGA Tour Player of the Award in a vote by his peers. Much earlier, he had wrapped up the points-based PGA Player of the Year Award, given by the PGA of America.
It's the eighth time Woods has won each award. The PGA Tour's award (called the Jack Nicklaus Award) has been given since 1990, and no other player has won more than two.
