Follow me on:

kzg ch iii fairway woods Two next-generation clubs are ready from KZG, the Gemini II 460 driver and CH III fairway woods.

The original Gemini, one of the first double-faced drivers, cause quite a ruckus when it was first introduced several years ago - both with the USGA, which originally ruled it non-conforming (later reversed), and with reviewers and consumers, who loved it.

The hook for the new CH III fairway woods (pictured), meanwhile, is that they are bendable at the hosel, allowing for more customizing through adjustments to lie angle.

Below the fold is information on stylish new apparel collections from Lija by Linda Hipp, plus info on Rifle Project X Flighted shafts.

• Project X Flighted shafts: Rifle's Project X steel shafts are among the most popular on the professional tours. Now Rifle introduces the Project X Flighted shafts, which, the company reports, offer "an exaggerated change in kick point within each shaft throughout the set to optimize ball flight through the bag. Long irons provide a lower kick point for higher ball flight, easier launch and greater distance, while the short irons have a higher kick point for a lower trajectory, greater accuracy and control." Available flexes are 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0. Shaft weights range from 115 grams (5.0 flex) to 135 grams (7.0 flex), based on 5-iron specs. Rifle Web site

• Lija Spring 2007 Collections: Nearly 300 pieces make up the Spring 2007 collections from Lija by Linda Hipp. The collections, described as "fun, flirty and vivacious," are whimsically named Sweet Like Sangria, All Over Olive, Dawn to Dusk, Green with Envy, and Cherry on Top.

The five collections feature, Lija reports, "tasteful, yet animated prints from plaids to mini rosebuds, and are enhanced with unique buttons, snaps and stitching." An expanded lineup of accessories - hats, belts, socks and bags - accompany the new collections, which also come in an expanded range of sizes that now includes 0, 16 and XXL.

Prices range from $30 to $125. More info is available on the Lija Web site.

• New Wireless App: Mobile search leader go2 has launched a new site for golfers. Via a mobile phone, golfers can access content provided by Golf Digest, including course ratings, news, pro tour schedules, instructional tips and driving directions to local courses. Users can access the site at www.go2golf.net, which is also the place to go for more info on using the service.
