Nike Sasquatch Sumo2: Is It Hip to Be Square?

nike sasquatch sumo2 driver Nike Golf sure thinks it is. Nike has unveiled its new square-headed driver, the Sasquatch Sumo2.

Looks kind of funny, doesn't it? Get used to it. This might be the new face of driver geometry. Nike is the first major manufacturer to introduce a square-headed driver, but the other biggies might not be far behind. There are photos floating around the Web of a square-headed Callaway Fusion prototype.

The point of the geometry is to ratchet up the moment of inertia, thus increasing the club's forgiveness. But Nike also has a "regular" Sumo driver on tap, one that maintains a traditional driver appearance. Read more about the Nike Sasquatch Sumo drivers.
