PGA Championship - Round 2: 4 Lead, Tiger 1 Back After Second Round

Friday August 18, 2006
There's a four-way tie for the lead at the PGA Championship, and Tiger Woods is just one stroke behind.

Tim Herron, Luke Donald, Billy Andrade and Henrik Stenson share the lead at 8-under par on a tightly bunched leaderboard.

The marquee pairing of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Geoff Ogilvy didn't disappoint. Ogilvy led the group most of the day, and finished with a par at No. 18 to post 7-under and sharing that next-best number with Davis Love III ... and Woods, who birdied No. 18. Mickelson also birdied the last hole to move to 4-under.

Here's what the leaderboard looks like:

Tim Herron, -8 (67)
Luke Donald, -8 (68)
Billy Andrade, -8 (69)
Henrik Stenson, -8 (68)
Davis Love III, -7 (69)
Geoff Ogilvy, -7 (68)
Tiger Woods, -7 (68)

Plenty of big names are in the hunt. In fact, with the cut line at even-par, everyone who makes the cut is still in this tournament.

Notables include David Toms at 6-under, Mike Weir and Sergio Garcia at 5-under, Jose Maria Olazabal and Adam Scott at 4-under, Chris DiMarco and Ernie Els at 3-under, Jim Furyk at 2-under and Retief Goosen at 1-under.
