The HS9 line, building on Cobra's popular "Speed Series" woods, incorporates the same "speed tuning" found in the Speed Series drivers and fairway metals, matching shaft flexes, face angles and lofts to a range of swing speeds.
The Cobra HS9 driver has what the company claims is the largest face area found on a 460cc model, a carbon composite crown, and other elements that Cobra says push the center of gravity lower and farther back to increase MOI. X, F and M models are speed-tuned, the X corresponding to higher swing speeds, M to lower ones, and F to those in the middle. The HS9 fairway metals come in 3, 5 and 7 models.
The HS9 driver carries and MSRP of $480; the fairway metals $285 each. A rundown of technology and specs is available here on the Cobra Web site.
