Wilson Prostaff, Hope Brands Present New Looks

Saturday May 6, 2006
The Wilson Golf brands aimed at recreational golfers, including Prostaff and Hope, offer new products this year that present new looks to consumers.

Sales of the Wilson Hope set, a packaged set available at some big-box retailers, support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Sold separately are packages of Wilson Hope golf balls, which now come in five different colors. Like the full Hope set, a portion of sales of Wilson Hope balls are donated to fund breast-cancer research.

Colors of the new Hope balls are pink, purple, orange and yellow pastels, plus crystal clear white. The MSRP for a 15-pack is $15.99.

The Wilson Prostaff lineup of golf balls now includes three models: Prostaff 360 Max Distance, Prostaff 360 Straight Flight and Prostaff 360 Tour Performance. You can guess what the Max Distance and Straight Flight balls are designed to do. The Tour Performance ball is for golfers who want an inexpensive distance ball with a little more response around the greens. All three versions carry MSRPs of $15.99 for 15-packs.

Also updated are the Prostaff 360 men's and women's club sets, the No. 1 selling complete club sets in the U.S., according to Wilson. Both sets carry MSRPs of $399.99. The men's set includes driver, 3- and 5-woods, 3 and 4 hybrids, and irons 5-PW. The women's set includes driver, 3-, 5- and 7 woods, 4 hybrid, and irons 5-PW.
